Creating a full body IK skin
Preparing the skin model
Your skin needs to be set as "Humanoid". To do this, select your model, Go to the "Rig" tab, and then set "Animation Type" to "Humanoid".

Create a new skin
Natigate to the VRFPS Kit > Prefabs > Objects > Player > Player Skins folder, where all the included player skins are located. Get started creating your new skin by duplicating the example Full Body Skin and give it a name.

Replacing the model
Next step is to switch out the skin model, to do this, click the Your Skin/model/model gameobject, then in the inspector,


Reassigning bones
Currently, the physics skeleton & IK Rig need to be manually reassigned. Open all of the following objects and reassign any missing references to the corresponding bones. This step will be automatic in the next version of VR FPS Kit.

Configuring the skin
You need to assign the "Head Renderer" inside of the VRBodySkin component on the root object. This is necessary for hiding the head on the local player.
